Your neighbor’s well is not your well
Same road, same year, different water. We have no way to know your readings without taking them, and neither does anyone else who offers you a price without a test.
Lee County is small on the map and varied underground. Around Sanford and Broadway, two wells a field apart can come back with different readings, because depth, age and construction all differ from one well to the next.
That is why we do not quote a Lee County well over the phone, and why the system next door is a poor guide to yours. What worked there was chosen for the water there.
The general pattern on wells southwest of the Triangle is hard water, with iron often alongside it and a sulfur smell on some.
Patterns are for planning, not for buying. The readings that decide your equipment are your own: grains of hardness, parts per million of iron, and pH. Iron under 6 ppm points to one system and iron over 6 ppm to another, and no amount of local knowledge substitutes for that number.
Sanford and the areas on municipal lines get treated, chlorinated water, and those homes mostly ask about taste and smell. Carbon filtration covers that.
We confirm your supplier and your source water during the free test rather than assuming it from your address.

Branden, the owner, comes to the house and tests at the kitchen sink. You see the numbers as he does. If the water needs nothing, that is what you will hear. If it needs a system, the price is already published on this site, and a licensed North Carolina plumber installs it.
Hydrogen sulfide from the well. The Iron Breaker AIO treats it along with iron under 6 ppm, and Peroxide Injection takes over when the iron is higher than that.

Yes, and it's a meaningful share of what we do. Wells in Wake, Harnett, Chatham and Johnston counties commonly come back with iron, hydrogen sulfide, sediment or low pH. Those need genuinely different equipment than a city water home — which is why we test first instead of quoting off a price list.
Yes. We come to your home, test at your kitchen sink, and show you the results while we're standing there. No fee, no obligation, no PDF emailed to you three days later. It takes about fifteen minutes.
A licensed North Carolina plumber. We don’t cut corners on who touches your water lines.
Our whole-home systems run from $2,349 to $5,650 installed, depending on whether you're on city water or a well, and what your water test turns up. City water systems are simpler — usually carbon filtration, sometimes paired with softening. Well water costs more because it's a harder problem: iron, sulfur, sediment and pH often have to be handled in stages. Every price on this site is the real installed price for a garage or accessible waterline. We don't quote a range and then surprise you.
Fifteen minutes at your kitchen sink, results while we are standing there, and no obligation. If your water is fine, we will tell you that.
